Our philosophy regarding fitness, health, and wellness is allowing us to find our best self. 

To be truly happy, we need to look at our whole self and find balance.  Our passion is helping people develop and maintain healthy habits to facilitate an active and well-balance life. 

Sarah’s goal regarding fitness, health and wellness, is to help others find their best self.  As an instructor, she is able to fine-tune her classes to make them accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.  She is a firm believer that the road to wellness is about the journey, not the destination.  Sarah aims to create a space where students feel challenged and supported, and infuses her classes with gratitude and humor.   She honors the fact that, as students, we come from many different walks of life, but when we step onto our mats to breath and practice together, collectively we can find balance and harmony.

Sarah began teaching group fitness classes in campus recreation at Elon University.  Working in campus recreation as a student employee, Sarah discovered that helping others through the avenue of fitness was her calling.  Sarah began her yoga journey in 2007, when she took her first yoga class at James Madison University, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology.  She immediately fell in love with the practice, and went on to receive her 200 hour certification through YogaFit.  

Sarah holds various group fitness certifications including 200 RYT, ACE Personal Trainer, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Instructor, Keiser Cycle Instructor, Zumba, Kickboxing and TRX.  Over the course of ten years, Sarah has taught many group fitness classes and trained many clients.

Sarah has a passion in helping others reach their health and fitness goals, finding balance in life, and discovering their best self.
